General
Biodegradable refers to anything that can be naturally broken down by microorganisms, such as bacteria and fungi, returning to the environment without causing harm. During this process, the material transforms into natural elements, such as water, carbon dioxide, and organic matter, without leaving toxic residues or microplastics. In the case of biodegradable cups , this means that they have been developed from raw materials of natural and sustainable origin, allowing them, after use and proper disposal, to decompose in a much shorter period than conventional plastics, reducing the environmental impact.Choosing biodegradable products is a conscious way of consuming, contributing to the preservation of the environment and the building of a more sustainable future.
Each biodegradable cup has a seed at its base , making post-use simple, sustainable, and meaningful. The customer can choose between two planting methods :Option 1: Plant the cup along with the seed. After use, rinse the cup with water only to remove any residue.Make a small hole in the ground (pot or garden).Place the cup on the ground, ensuring it is completely covered by soil .Water regularly, keeping the soil moist (but not waterlogged). The cup will decompose naturally, serving as organic matter while the seed germinates.Option 2: Plant only the seed.Carefully remove the seed located at the base of the cup.Make a small hole in the ground.Place the seed, cover lightly with soil, and water.Keep the soil moist and in a location with natural light. In both options, you transform a simple cup into life , helping the environment and encouraging more conscious practices in everyday life.
